Marc Tillemans – International Projects Coordinator – OLV-College Antwerp, Belgium

“International collaboration between schools from different countries and cultures is becoming more and more important, even in primary schools. I wrote an article for the Educate Magis blog to share a wonderful international project we have with 2 other Jesuit primary schools. The Educate Magis blog is the perfect instrument to share our ideas and experiences with all our colleagues in Jesuit schools around the world.

Vitangelo Denora, SJ – Delegate for Jesuit Education in Italy

“I enjoy promoting Educate Magis because it is important and beautiful to share dreams, experiences, good practices and also challenges between Ignatian schools and educators around the world. This is a concrete way to build and strengthen a large network of people that face the same challenges of today’s world. It’s also a humble way to proceed: without easy answers, but constantly being in global dialogue as companions and pilgrims, researching the Magis in education.”

Jimena Castro – Awareness Projects Coordinator – FLACSI, Chile

“I really enjoy translating content for the Educate Magis community because it gives me an opportunity to learn more, to use my language skills and to make more content available to more people around the world! Every time I translate I am amazed by the wonderful opportunities we, as a global network of Jesuit schools, have to share, learn and grow together!”

Meet some Educate Magis members from around the world

Every year we ask some of our members to share their experiences, how they use the online community platform
and the goals they have achieved by connecting with peers from other countries.

Allow yourself to be inspired by these ideas and initiatives!

Translation is about sharing. And sharing is caring. It’s humane. It helps to spread ideas, share perspectives, inspire others, open up new worlds to our friends and colleagues in other parts of the world.

As we are a global and multilingual community we work hard to deliver content in the 3 official languages of the Society; English, Spanish and French. Now that our community is growing and our content library too, we need help translating video subtitles, news items and short documents.

Are you fluent in English and French or Spanish? Please register your interest here and we will contact you directly!

As a global community, we have the opportunity to tell stories by sharing photos, videos and realities from all around the world. We have the opportunity to inspire others and learn from each other.

Storytelling is perhaps the most powerful community building tool we have.
Do you have news or photos to share from your own school community? Do you love writing and enjoy storytelling? Do you enjoy editing videos? Would you like to help us share more exciting content with our global community?

We would love to hear from you! Please register your interest here and we will contact you directly!

Do you enjoy being a member of a growing global community and the opportunities this presents? Would you like your friends and colleagues working in Jesuit schools to be a part of the community?

Would you like to help us spread the word and help us to invite more teachers around the world to become part of our global education community?

If this is the case we would love to work with you to help you promote Educate Magis amongst your peers, at staff meetings, meetings with other Jesuit schools, etc.

Have you been a member of Educate Magis for a while and have more ideas of how you could get involved and help our global community to grow?

So far, the Educate Magis community has grown and developed largely through the ideas and inputs from members around the world.

We would love to know how you would like to get involved in Educate Magis and how you would like to help us to serve more members in Jesuit schools around the world. All ideas welcome!
