Students from St. Joseph’s School CBSE in India kindly share their reflections and wishes on Christmas with all educators and students from our global community.

Thy, Christmas Bliss

In yuletide halls where holly boughs entwine,
A festive tale unfolds in prose so fine.
‘Tis Christmas, a merry and joyous time,
Where love and cheer in harmony chime.

As snowflakes dance in the star-lit night,
Each heart glows with pure delight.
The heart’s warm embrace, a sacred song,
Ignites the spirit, where all belong.

In carols sweet, the melodies ring,
Echoes of joy, the season they bring.
For in these moments, love takes its cue,
A gift bestowed, tis a bond renewed.

With laughter peeling like church bells’ chime,
The world is wrapped in sublime love.
In our soul’s embrace, we find our way,
A merry dance in the winter’s day…..

So let us revel in this festive cheer,
Embrace the warmth that draws us near.
Our joy declares,
A Christmas tale woven with love to share.

“Happy Birthday, Jesus! Your love fills our lives with joy and peace.

Students of St. Joseph’s School took part in the Christmas celebration assembly on December 20, 2023. The junior choir from classes 2 to 5 sang the song Happy Birthday Jesus, which was written by Carol Cymbala, the wife of Pastor Jim Cymbala. The song jubilantly expresses their excitement and encapsulates the message of love and cheer to celebrate Jesus’s birthday by drawing our attention to the excitement of the kind of decorations that are put up, the presents they get, and the holiday of getting together with family and friends, all because of the birth of the baby Jesus, who was bigger than our whole world and lay in the little stable.

Christmas!

A Christmas time. Holidays!
There are smiles on everyone’s faces, bells tinkling, people singing, lights of all colours lighting the streets and houses, breathtaking cake decorations,

Christmas trees everywhere, magnificent cribs next to them, and kids waiting for Santa Claus. Oh, hi! That time of year is here. Christmas is here! Christmas is a time to celebrate unity and togetherness, as well as a fantastic opportunity to share joy, happiness, and many other things. Christmas is a word that conjures up images of celebrations and holidays, but it also conjures up images of giving: aiding the poor, sharing, and loving everyone, as well as making everyone feel included in the festivities, really bringing the celebration to life. Our origins can be different.

Prayer for the Gift of Christmas Spirit

Loving God, during this holy season of Christmas, we ask for your grace and blessing on all of us.

Let Mother Mary’s openness to your wonderful ways be an inspiration to place all our trust in you.

Let St. Joseph’s courage provide hope during times of anxiety and uncertainty.

In keeping the Christmas spirit, may we find baby Jesus in our lives and in the lives of the excluded?

Help us to be generous in heart and spread the Christmas cheer by giving and not expecting, by loving and caring for the less fortunate.

We ask all this in your holy name.

AMEN.
