The new navigation menu and the new design of the Educate Magis platform are now ready. After several months of consultation and design testing with different members of our global community and with the support of the Secretary for Jesuit Education, the Educate Magis team has updated the design and navigation on the platform. This new navigation is aimed at making the experiences of learning, teaching, and collaborating globally easier for educators registered as members of our global apostolic community.

How to Learn, Teach, and Collaborate in Educate Magis?

Our apostolic global community consists of educators from our Jesuit Global Network of Schools (JGNS). This gives you the opportunity to learn with and from educators from different contexts and cultures across the world, who share the same Ignatian values. Now you can choose to participate in the online learning experiences that best suits your needs, for example, in individual self-paced courses or global cohorts in core staff formation topics, as well as in seasonal learning experiences through Webinars.

As a member of our global community, you also have access to online teaching tools and resources to facilitate teaching from an Ignatian global perspective, with fellow teachers worldwide. In this respect, you can choose to teach through the creation of global Connected Classrooms or through the new Remote Teaching tool.

Did you know…
By preparing teaching experiences for your students with other Jesuit educators you are actively discerning how to become a Contemporary Jesuit Educator. Answering Father General Sosa’s call to “an ongoing exercise of discernment to respond to the signs of the times and evolve Jesuit education”. (A Living Tradition (2019)

Furthermore, as a member of Educate Magis, you can be part of a unique global Ignatian collaborative experience by exchanging experiences and ideas to design and implement global projects with fellow educators from around the world. In the new navigation, we hope you will find it is easier to share ideas and projects and that there are many tools and resources to help you network and collaborate globally.

At the Service of the Jesuit Mission

Learning, Teaching, and Collaborating with and from other Jesuit educators «opens up a new way of proceeding for our schools in service of the Jesuit mission: companions of reconciliation and justice – with God, within humanity and with creation (GC 36 Decree #1).»
