In view of the unprecedented challenges facing educational communities in Haiti because of the current situation, the International Office of Catholic Education (OIEC) would like to express its full support through prayer for all teachers, pupils, parents, and educational staff in the country.

The recent events in Haiti have highlighted the exceptional courage of the educational communities who are striving to maintain access to education despite the circumstances. The OIEC is deeply touched by the resilience and determination of these communities, which are struggling daily to provide quality education.
