This Christmas let’s share and reflect on the meaning of peace and reconciliation together.

In times of global conflict (particularly under the context of the war in Ukraine and the crisis in Gaza-Israel) we would like to invite students from our Jesuit schools around the world to share and reflect on the meaning of peace and reconciliation.

• What can we learn about the meaning of peace and Jesus’ message of reconciliation during this season?
• How can we become authentic agents of peace and reconciliation?

This year, our Global Christmas Celebration is structured in two main parts. For the first part, we will engage in attentively listening to each other´s answers to the reflection questions provided. For the second part, students will be invited to share their Christmas Wishes in a creative way, maybe a song, a poem, or a prayer. The more creative the better! And if time allows, we will have a third part where the microphone will be opened to anyone who wishes to share their thoughts or takeaways from the celebration.

On the 24th of December, a video clip will be shared with some reflections and Christmas wishes with everyone in our Global Community in such a way that you can then pass it on to your students (and colleagues)!

Let’s make this Christmas as special as possible for our students by spreading peace and reconciliation all over the world!
