A Boy with Mangos: Bachirou’s Story (JRS Series #15)

Global Citizenship, Equality and Social Justice
By JRS International
Mar 20th, 2017

Bachirou is a Foulani student from the Central African Republic (CAR) living in a refugee site in Cameroon. He spends his time at school and working with his father in the merchant trade. Due to mass displacement, education of the Fulani tribe depends wholly on NGOs working in countries adjacent to CAR. At Cameroon’s border with CAR, many schools that provide education to Fulani, like Bachirou, are sponsored by JRS.
