Amadou is a cattle herder coming from the Central African Republic. The conflict in his country forced him to leave, seeking refuge in Cameroon. Having lost everything he had, he now survives with the little money he makes selling few items in the market: soap, candies, coffee, tea etc. His children could access school thanks to JRS help, which provided for fees and learning material. Amadou hopes that education will enable his children to overcome the adversities they face as victims of war and as refugees’.
