JESEDU-Jogja2024 is one year away!

JESEDU-Jogja2024 is one year away.

This month marks the one-year countdown to JESEDU-Jogja2024, and we are delighted to remind you of our upcoming event, the II Seminar JESEDU-Jogja2024, which will take place June 24-28 next year in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. While the seminar dates remain unchanged, the venue has been relocated by the organizing committee from Sanata Dharma University to St John De Britto College, one of the 7 Jesuit schools in the country. Onsite participation in the event is by invitation only.

The II Seminar JESEDU-Jogja2024 is organized by the Jesuit Schools Association of Indonesia (ASJI) and the Indonesian Province of the Society of Jesus with the support of the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific (JCAP) and the Secretariat for Education of the Society of Jesus.

The seminar follows on from the II Colloquium JESEDU-Global 2021 in the 9-year cycle of international gatherings for the ongoing exercise of discernment for our schools. The seminar will be attended by a specialized group of participants from the six conferences of the Society of Jesus and members of the International Commission on the Apostolate of Jesuit Education (ICAJE) and will explore and discuss Catholic/Jesuit Identity and in-depth faith formation in our schools.

We welcome all participants to the Special Region of Yogyakarta, a special administrative region in Indonesia. The Greater Yogyakarta, which includes the city of Yogyakarta, is a place renowned for its rich cultural heritage, traditional arts, and historical landmarks.
