What age group is this project for?
This project is recommended for secondary school students, between the ages of 12 and 18.

Where can we do this project?
Walk a Mile in My Shoes can take place in any common area, either inside or outside. You will need enough space for the participants to walk around between stations. If you are using a classroom, it would be better to use a large classroom.

How long does it take?
The time period can range from 10-20 minutes per participant. Participants (i.e. students) can move through the stations alone or in groups of 4-6 people.

What kind of resources do I need to carry out this project?
In order to carry out this awareness experience you will need the resources listed on Page 8 of the Toolkit.

What should I do once we have completed the project?
Once you have carried out this project with your students, it is recommended that you help them reflect on their experience. There are some Reflection Questions on Page 14 of the Toolkit. Once you have done this please share your experiences and photos with Educate Magis to help inspire other schools to participate.
