Teachers from European schools finished their participation in The « 4 Key Practices in Ignatian Spirituality » online course

At the beginning of March a group of new/novice teachers from our European schools finished participation in the 4 Key Practices in Ignatian Spirituality online course, coordinated by Educate Magis. For 8 weeks, by reading and reflecting on the delivered materials on their own and participating in 4 synchronous online sessions, they deepened their knowledge of Jesuit spiritual practices.

The course was beautifully facilitated by Elisabeth Clarke, Director of Ethos at Clongowes Wood College SJ, Clane, Ireland, and Lourenço Eiró SJ, Jesuit from Portugal, former Education DeleChorgate and Chaplain at Santo Tirso College, Caldinhas, Portugal. We are very grateful for their great engagement in this course.

All course participants spoke highly of its quality and significant impact on their personal and professional lives. We therefore wish to continue to implement these courses, both regionally and globally. We hope that with the support of local networks and individual schools, it will soon become one of the key elements in the training of new teachers in our Jesuit schools.

We will invite you to the next edition of the course together with Educate Magis very soon.
