European Interschool Kahoot – Get Ready for World Refugee Day!

If you are …

A teacher in a school in one of these countries: Belgium, Spain, Portugal or Hungary
AND
Interested in the subject of migration

Then this event is for you!!

In the light of World Refugee Day in June, JRS Europe together with its’ partners from Belgium, Spain, Portugal and Hungary warmly invite teachers and their students (11-18 years old) to take part in an online European Interschool Kahoot on Wednesday 9th of June.

Why take part?

The Kahoot will encourage the students to become aware of their knowledge and views on migration and refugees, in a fun and engaging way. The activity provides an opportunity for students from different countries to learn together about an important societal topic.

This Kahoot is part of the CHANGE project, an educational project which aims to promote students’ critical thinking and participation on the themes of migration and refugees.

When and how to take part?

We will facilitate several Kahoot quiz sessions of 30 minutes, in English and in Spanish through the Zoom platform. All you will need from your side is a computer and Internet to connect to Zoom. Students can answer the Kahoot quiz with their personal device (a phone or a laptop).

Here below is a timetable of the different sessions on June 9th:
