12 Reflections on Paintings for Our Common Home – Painting #6 “The Magnificat”, and Reflection #6 “The Magnificat”.

The Magnificat

The seed sprouts to new life, reaching to the sun,

The bird chirping a song of praise,

The wind whispers the secret of liberation,

The fish reveals the mystery of the waters.

Her soul proclaims the greatness of the Creator,

Her spirit rejoices in her blessings,

The Almighty has done great things for her.

We are blessed through her, our mother ever caring

In her we take refuge and seek comfort,

The Mother Earth.
