You Call Me Out Upon The Waters – International Conference

For 25 years now, the Centre for Ignatian Pedagogy in Hungary has promoted teacher development with special emphasis on Ignatian Pedagogy and Spirituality. We focus on adult education and an integral part of our activity is sharing of experiences with educational institutions run by the state or the church.

By implementing the international conference «You call me out upon the waters» we are taking another step towards common thinking, sharing good practices, and motivating present and future teachers.

We have invited Sandra Chaoul as the keynote speaker, who is an expert in the process of discernment and also in dialogues that support the development and nurturing of relationships. As the director of Discerning Leadership International Accompaniment, she shares her thoughts and experiences. We have also invited young and talented teachers and future professionals to a round-table discussion – Sarolta Gloviczki (Special education university student, Budapest, Hungary), Marcin Musial (Krakkow, Poland), and Krisztián Simkó (Miskolc, Hungary) teachers to inspire young people to choose teaching as their vocation.

One of the main goals of this year’s conference is to create communities both for experienced and young professionals where they can connect and where they can find a safe environment to talk about successes and challenges as well.

We warmly welcome anyone who wants to renew their teaching practices and who would like to hear about the tools, and practices based on Ignatian Pedagogy.
