Dear Friends,

I am asking for your prayers this Christmas for our friends from Ateneo Sacred Heart School Cebu (Joy, her students, and province-mates) and Ateneo de Naga (Alyzza, her students, and province-mates) among others with whom we interacted last October, during the Facilitated Global Citizenship Class and last December 10th, during the Virtual Global Christmas Gathering.

On December 16, super typhoon Odettte (international name Rai) hit the middle of the Philippine archipelago which is the Visayas and Mindanao region and made landfall over 6 times. About 9 provinces in that region were hit badly by that storm, including Cebu City. many affected lost all power and some places have not yet regained it. Relief operations are ongoing, but wherever we are we can all support and pray for those affected.
