On December 14, 2017, the Kindergarteners of St.Marys School ICSE Mazgaon, Mumbai were all excited to visit the Byculla zoo and observe the animals in their artificial habitats.

The students, along with their teachers left from school at 9.45a.m. The highlight of the visit was the “Humboldt Penguins.” The boys excitedly watched the penguins as one of them swam about while the others stood by. The kids walked around the zoo and saw a hippopotamus lazing around in the pond in its enclosure, few spotted-deer, and an active hyena. Later, they also observed a lazy crocodile, a couple of elephants and numerous beautiful birds. After spending about two hours at the zoo, our little angels were anxious to return to school and share their experience with their friends and with their parents and siblings at home.
