Busy times prior to the end of 2020 kept me up and alert (well, at least «up»!) in my work as Director of Development for Loyola Jesuit Secondary School (LJSS) in Kasungu, Malawi.  LJSS resumed operation in mid-November, after a temporary COVID shutdown since mid-March.  A highlight of the return was a graduation ceremony for the class of 2020 — something missed in June 2020 because of the vacant campus.

The following photo shows a section of the 2020 graduation class, appropriately attired in cap and gown AND MASK!  The graduates stayed on campus to take the National Examinations in December.  Results of those examinations are eagerly awaited.  In exams for our first graduating class (2019), we scored NUMBER ONE in the whole country — a great way to begin a new school!
