On November 5, Fairfield Prep celebrated the Feast of All Saints and Blessed of the Society of Jesus with a full school Mass. The Most Reverend Frank Caggiano, Bishop of the Diocese of Bridgeport, was the Principal Celebrant and Homilist. He spoke during his homily about who we owe our allegiances to and how sometimes our allegiances divide us; he asked the question of all in attendance: have we pledged our allegiance to Christ as he has to us? If our hearts are not aligned with Him then we will not be able to fight the good fight. The bishop’s words were inspiring yet challenging at the same time.
