Ignatian spirituality was crafted painstakingly by a sixteenth-century Basque, Ignatius of Loyola. His influence and inspiration are still very much alive, five-hundred years on. Following the life and spiritual journey of Ignatius enables the participant to make sense of their own life experience.

Overview
In this “mini” course on the life of Ignatius of Loyola, the learner will have a chance to read about and reflect on the life journey of the founder of the Society of Jesus. These five lessons also form part of the course on Ignatian Spirituality and Leadership.
This course is designed for those who work in a voluntary way with the Society of Jesus; for communities of the Ignatian tradition, for educators and parents, for those undertaking leadership roles in Jesuit organizations, for employees and for the wider public.
The core material for this course is the book Alone and on Foot: Ignatius of Loyola, by Brian Grogan, S.J. The relevant chapters are available to download for each Lesson.
