On the 1st September 2015, the Xavier Jesuit School Project’s Summer School program for 150 grade 6 primary school students from different local schools began. Even though the construction of the new Community Learning Centre/Teacher Resource Centre has not yet been completed, the teachers and students have entered energetically into the intense program of learning activities. In the morning, classes are held in Khmer, Maths, English, Science and Social Studies, Physical Education and Art. In the afternoon, the students are free to choose activities among sport, domestic science, agriculture and handicrafts. Four volunteers (two Khmer and two American) and two local teachers are helping the XJSP teachers during the summer school the program.
