World Catholic Education Day is observed on the day of the Ascension (40 days after Easter), which this year falls on May 26. The aim of the Day is to reflect on, recognize, and celebrate Catholic education.

The Global Catholic Education project together with the International Office of Catholic Education (OIEC), the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), the World Organization of Former Students of Catholic Education (OMAEC), and the World Union of Catholic Teachers (UMEC-WUCT) are offering a few resources are available for those wishing to observe the day, including a one-page flier in English, French, and Spanish; a brochure (8 pages) in English, French, and Spanish; a report responding to the call from Pope Francis and other resources. These resources are available on this website’s page for the Day.
