Tresor – poet and musician in motion (JRS Series #5)

Tresor is a refugee poet and musician living in #Malawi. He had to flee the Democratic Republic of Congo because of his writing. In Malawi, he connected with the art community and has worked on the organization of the world’s first music festival in a #refugee camp, the Tumaini festival.

Art, music, dance, education are all elements that contribute to people’s growth, they help human beings not only to acquire a better sense of themselves and of the community they live in, but also to aspire to a better and a more satisfying life.

The #JRS #MercyinMotion campaign aims to provide 240,000 refugee children and youth with access to education by the year 2020. The campaign was launched on 8 December 2015 with the Holy Year of Mercy.
