The Pre-Colloquium is now open! – JESEDU-Global2021

From today, all Educate Magis members are welcome to participate in the first of four Strands that constitute the Pre-Colloquium Asynchronous Reflection Modules of the JESEDU-Global2021 Colloquium.

“Educating for Faith” is the topic of Strand number one, which covers the reality of an increasingly multi-religious and secularized world and raises the question of how educators from Jesuit schools can educate for faith as inclusive but distinctly Catholic schools?

We invite you to watch the two pre-recorded Keynote Addresses shared by Fr. James Hanvey SJ, Secretary for the Service of Faith for the Society of Jesus, and by Agbonkhianmeghe E. Orobator SJ, President of the Jesuit Conference of Africa and Madagascar, and to engage in the online reflections/conversations prepared after each Keynote.

This is an opportunity to reflect, together with your peers from other regions of the world, on possible ways to accompany the youth, to show them—rather than just tell them—a way to God that leads to a meaningful faith commitment and purpose in life.

The collated fruits of the reflections and conversations from these Reflection Modules will be synthesized, and presented during the Closing Ceremony of the JESEDU-Global2021 Colloquium.

We will continue opening the following Strands over the coming weeks. You will have until June 28th to watch the Keynotes and engage in the online conversations.
