Roald’s artistic and athletic carrier has had many achievements. For example, in 2000, he competed in the painting division at the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) Sport Art competition, for which he won the gold medal.

Today, Roald has been appointed as the ambassador for “Expression 2017” a global drawing competition created to discover children’s perception of “Peace through Sports” through illustrations and sketches, and on April 25, 2017 International Olympic Committee President, Thomas Bach, appointed Roald to the Olympic Culture and Heritage Commission.

The aim of the competition is to tap into the creative minds of our young people, through art, to see what they think about peace and sport and maybe, just maybe, get a fresh idea or a new perspective that could promote peace worldwide.” Roald Bradstock.

Here is a video were Tebebu Mekonnen and Julitza Ponce, students from Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School-USA, interviewed Mr. Roald Bradstock to learn more about his vision and mission as an ambassador of “Expression 2017”.
