The Curia Organizes a Live Online Prayer Broadcast to Mark the Start of the Ignatian Year

On 23 May, Pentecost Sunday, the Curia organizes a live online prayer broadcast to mark the start of the Ignatian Year. This prayer will be broadcast three times: 8pm PST, 8pm CET, 8pm EDT. Each time there will be three language versions: English, Spanish, and French.

500 years ago, St. Ignatius of Loyola was wounded in the battle of Pamplona. This injury shattered his dreams of worldly glory and put him on a way of conversion which would ultimately lead to the foundation of the Society of Jesus. This year is an opportunity to celebrate this conversion, to be renewed, to become pilgrims with Ignatius, and to see all things new in Christ.

You are invited to start this Ignatian Year prayerfully on 23 May through this link JOIN LIVE Pilgrims with Ignatius || Ignatian Year Launch (ignatius500.global). Fr. General Arturo Sosa will join in with prayer, and people from all over the world will share testimonies. There will be room for silent personal prayers too.
