Support and Appreciation for Expression 2018

The Olympian Association of India sent a letter of appreciation to St. Lawrence High School with regards to the initiative Expression 2018. In the letter the association shares their delight about this initiative which strives to instill Olympic Values in students.

We extend our best wishes for Expression 2018 and hope for more such initiatives throughout India”

The school also received a letter from Sir Craig Reedie, President of the World Anti-Doping Agency, where he addresses students on the meaning of Fair Play and the important role Fair Play has in making sport a positive experience for all involved.

Knowing that you have given your best, in a competitive and ultimately fair way, is a crucial part of the pleasure and satisfaction we all feel when taking part in our favourite sport. In fact, fair play protects athletes’ right to equal competition, including the rights of clean athletes.” Sir Craig Reedie, President of WADA

WADA is a big promoter of Fair Play and focuses on assisting teachers in using the values inherent in sports to develop the character of students. Sir Reedie finishes the letter by offering their full support to St. Lawrences’ global initiative and urges them to enjoy and make sport a shining beacon for peace, fair play, and integrity in the world.

An additional appreciation sent to support Expression 2018 was a message from the President of Hockey India, Mr. Rajinder Singh. Here we share this wonderful message:
