In preparation of the synod in 2023 the Diocese of Rotterdam held several discernment dialogues. The Stanislas college was also invited to dialogue with the bishop Mgr. Johannes van den Hende. Because not all students have a catholic background they prepared for weeks about the topics that where to be discussed. They were honored to have the bishop in their midst but also inspired by the bishop who told them about the life of the church. The students on their turn talked about their admiration for the church’s faith, her charity work, the chances they have at school to reflect on their lives in a meaningful way.
