Around 65 students from grade II to IX painted murals on the wall of BMC’s Waste Treatment Plant opposite Haji Ali. The paintings were based on the themes of spreading awareness about being eco friendly, saving water and global warming.

The students were supervised by our school Art Master Mr. S. Ravindranath. The students were taken to the site at 9.00 a.m. and were given free rein until 2.30 p.m. to unleash their creativity and colours on the wall.

A big thank you to the parents who volunteered for this activity by accompanying the students for the programme. I am sure such initiatives will not only create awareness among students and the society but it will also help to inculcate these values in our students. Students will learn to save water and preserve nature. They will understand the impact of global warming.
