I am extremely happy, excited and honured to be part of this unique project called ‘Chess’n’ Mate’ under Ensemble 2018 organised by St. Lawrence High School and St. Lawrence Old Boys’ Association, supported by Peace and Sport. I do believe that all the young minds, all the youngsters, they should take part in any kind of sport, it not only builds good health but it will keep them  away from all negative activities. In this connection I will be playing a match against GM Alexandra Kostenuik on 6th of April. I hope you all will join and enjoy the match” — GM Dibyendu Barua

I’m very happy once again as a Champion for Peace to support the #WhiteCard Campaign by Peace and Sport on April 6. This year to celebrate the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, I will be pleased to join “Ensemble and Chess ‘n’ Mate” initiative organized by St. Lawrence High School, Kolkata and St. Lawrence Old Boys’ Association partnered by Peace and Sport. By supporting this day, I show my commitment to try to make the world a safer, more peaceful place with a hope to see in the future battles only on sports fields and chess boards. Let’s raise the White Cards and let’s believe in our dreams and move towards our goals” — GM Alexandra Kostenuik
