“OLYMPIC PICASSO” in St. Lawrence High School, Kolkata

On Thursday, June 22, 2017, students at St. Lawrence High School, Kolkata gave a huge welcome to Mr. Roald Bradstock, the “Olympic Picasso” and ambassador of ‘Expression 2017’ by throwing colorful paper planes in the school yard. 2,152 students created a new world record for the most amount of paper planes thrown at once. This gesture was organized because Mr. Bradstock represented Great Britain at the Olympics in the Javelin throwing event. President of the Bengal Hockey Association, Mr. Noomi Mehta, was present as chief guest of the event.

‘Expression 2017’ a drawing and painting competition will take place today, June 23rd to celebrate Olympic Day.  Celebrations will begin at 10 am on June 23rd. See details here.
