The World-wide Congress “Educate today and tomorrow. A renewing passion” will take place in Rome, from November 18 to 21, 2015 at the Auditorium della Conciliazione, (Via della Conciliazione, 4 – Rome)

The Congress is organized by the Congregation for the Catholic Education of Holy See on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the council declaration “Gravissimum Educationis”.

The OIEC (Catholic International Education Office) collaborate along with the FIUC (Federation the International of the Catholic Universities) and the Commission of Education of the Superiors and Superiors Majors with headquarters in Rome altogether in the organization of these events.

The Mission of the Congress

The Congress wants to respond to the three aspects that Pope Francis emphasized, to be considered nowadays, to the participants of the plenary assembly of the Congregation for the Catholic Education in February last year:

The assessment of the dialog in education, especially the intercultural dialog; the qualified preparation of the trainers, considering that education targets every dynamic generation, and that our educative institutions have the responsibility of expressing the live presence of the Gospel in the field of education.

The addressees of the Congress are mainly the Episcopal Conferences, the union of General Superiors and the International Union of General Superiors of Religious Congregations, the National and International Associations of professors, parents, students and former students, as well as managers of the catholic institutions and finally, those implied and committed with catholic education.

Educate Magis was invited to participate and will present its initial work at the Congress.

Registration is now open. Detailed information on the event is available in several languages on the Congress website.
