Kaunas Jesuit High School community embraces everyone who celebrates the most cozy and precious time of the year and sends greetings in the form of short video messages. Those messages are full of joy, hope and peace that motivate to seek for more noble goals and lightens up each day.

Every day in December until Christmas Day, there appears a new short video greeting, made by students, teachers or administration staff, in the Facebook account of KJHS. This campaign is called “More light”; it invites everyone creating a video clip to show all of one’s imagination, creativity, and wit. There have already appeared impressive videos that express students and teachers’ reflection about the season of Advent. Some of them were made in a form of contemporary art, some reminded funny advertisements and the others expressed sincere care about the difficult time that the world is going through.

The initiators of this campaign remind everyone that: “Advent invites us to think about the future and at the same time to reflect on the days that has passed. When we look back on our recent events and the year that is coming to an end, most of us remember not only joyful moments but also the lack of hope and the lack of light…”. This campaign was initiated referring to the current need of the community to get together again. It is an opportunity to get closer at least in this way, to reunite for a common search for peace, to share our thoughts and feelings and to spread hope to each other.

One of the videos is attached to this message. It was created by 1st year gymnasium students.
