The Australian Province is organizing the International Ignatian Ecospiritual Conference, which will be held online from April 25th to 30th in 2022.  This is an invitation to Ecological Conversion as we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Conversion of Saint Ignatius of Loyola.

With Ignatius’ deep desire for conversion in the Spiritual Exercises, the Ecospiritual Conference, will seek to encourage a deeper “ecological conversion” through a contemplative immersion experience in Nature in different parts of the world that will lead to reconciliation with Creation.

The conference will feature inspirational keynote speakers, Xavier Jeyaraj SJ, Dr Lesley Hughes (Climate Council of Australia), Tony Rinaudo (World Vision) and Pedro Walpole SJ. It will also offer opportunities to spend time in a hub with others in your local time zone and sharing your experience with others around the world.  You might wish to have a hub at your school or in your local community – it is open to anyone interested in this experience.

The theme will focus on spending time out in Nature. To register and see more information go to this website IIEC 2022
