The “Colegio San José” school in Villafranca de los Barros, Badajoz (Spain), has developed a full International Program and we will be more than happy to create new links between us and other Jesuit schools in JECSE.

The international program of “Colegio San José de Villafranca” aspires to answer to the call of walking as a global network of schools at the service of the Mission, to educate our students as global citizens in the spirit of the 4Cs.

The school, is a boarding school, which offers a residence where students can live together and enjoy an experience of personal and academic growth, so it welcomes students who want to study Secondary Education and Baccalaureate (11 to 18 years). Located in Villafranca de los Barros, a rural area of Extremadura, San José school offers a very safe environment to our students. At the same time it is close to historical cities as Seville, Madrid, Granada, etc. so we facilitate our boys and girls a plethora of unique experiences to live in Spain.

The international program allows students to attend San José school for different periods of time, from terms to full courses.

More information about the program is available here: Colegio San José International Program

In addition, we have organized an ”Ignatian Summer Camp in Spanish” next July 2022. In this regard, we welcome students next summer 2022 (11 to 17 years old) from all over the world offering them a complete summer course to improve their Spanish language skills in an Ignatian Boarding School in Spain, with Spanish lessons in small groups with highly qualified teachers, cultural trips and sport activities, at the same time that we are committed to deepening our Ignatian Spirituality.
