Una interesante y novedosa experiencia de aprendizaje en el idioma inglés vivieron alumnos del Tercer Ciclo de Aprendizaje del Colegio San Ignacio en Santiago de Chile  quienes participaron de una video conferencia, coordinada desde Irlanda, con el Secretario para la Educación Jesuita, P. José Mesa, S.J.

El P. José brinda soporte al P. General Arturo Sosa, S.J., con la promoción, animación y coordinación global de la educación primaria y secundaria de la Compañía de Jesús. Él motiva a las escuelas a trabajar juntas para compartir ideas, recursos y perspectivas. Al momento existen 845 escuelas en 72 países diferentes.

Esta experiencia es parte de las múltiples actividades que la red de educadores ignacianos, Educate Magis, promueve para crear una comunidad activa en línea que conecte a los educadores de los colegios Jesuitas e Ignacianos de todo el mundo.

De esta forma, durante una hora, y junto a otros colegios de distintas partes del mundo, nuestros estudiantes dialogaron entorno a la pregunta “¿Cómo pueden los colegios colaborar unos con otros usando la Red Global de Colegios Jesuitas?”

Compartimos esta experiencia a través de la voz de nuestros estudiantes.

1.- ¿Cómo fue la experiencia de ponerse en contacto con otras instituciones Ignacianas a través de una video conferencia?¿How was the experience to get in touch with other Ignatian Institutions through a video-conference ?

2.- ¿Qué esperas del Educate Magis en el futuro?, ¿What do you expect about Educate Magis in the future?

I personally expect that Educate Magis is going to become a reality, and that it will give the opportunity to students to go in exchanges to other countries, to share with people from different countries, and to put in practice all of what we learn in English classes”.
