More Information

As most of you know, we are following our call to be a universal body with a universal mission. We are incredibly fortunate to be part of such a rich and diverse global network of Jesuit schools. Members of the Educate Magis community come from all over the globe. Since Educate Magis was born we have aimed to be as inclusive as possible in our language, tone and message.

We have translated the site into the 3 official languages of the Society of Jesus, English, French and Spanish and where possible try to publish our content in these 3 languages. As our community is growing, so is our volume of content. We want to continue being as multilingual and inclusive as possible but we need your help!

What next?

We would love to facilitate a volunteer translation community (similar to the TED Open Translation Project, the Facebook Translation Community and the Sacred Space Translation Community). This would involve an enthusiastic group of French and/or Spanish speakers who would like to translate some of the content on our site in order to make it available to more members of the community. We have created a community group, on Educate Magis, for the translation community and will support and guide you in translating content.

What kind of content?

Video subtitles, News items and Interesting Documents on Jesuit education.

How much time would this require?

This would not be a fulltime commitment and would not be huge volumes of text! We would also like to work with you to figure the easiest and most efficient way to make this community a pleasant experience for all.

What do I need to do?
