Cultural Card Exchange

In the world of everything digital students decided to send each other actual cards.

The card exchange was the idea of Chinese language teacher Yude Huang of St. Louis University High School (SLUH).  Here is Yude’s account of this project:

“Thanks to the Educate Magis, I was able to find St. Ignatius High School in Taipei, which would also like to have students from both schools share their culture differences through sending actual Cards rather than Emails. We did the Christmas cards exchange last year.  Because of the Chinese New Year, they sent the New Year cards to us and we are about to send Easter Cards to them”.

Here’s a picture of the SLUH students holding the Chinese New Year Cards they received from their pen pals from St. Ignatius High School, Taipei.
