COVID-19 and Its Impacts: Adolescent Perspectives

During 2020, the Jesuit School Network (JSN) of North America supported a research study out of Marquette University on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescents. The study was conducted through an online survey in order to better understand what they are going through and to help schools in their efforts to support students.

The survey focused on impacts and challenges high school students are experiencing in relation to COVID-19, schooling experiences during the fall of 2020, trust in institutions and groups in society, and future orientations & sense of social responsibility.

The lead investigator was Dr. Gabriel Velez, who graduated from Regis High School (NY).
