Bgreen, ecological film festival, is a video competition connected to environmental issues that aims to raise young people’s awareness towards caring for our Common Home.

In this 10th edition, we highlight Sustainable Consumption. “Earthability” calls our attention to the skills human beings must develop to deal with the planet in a sustainable manner.

The participants in the 10th edition can address a variety of themes akin to sustainable consumption such as: mobility, planned obsolescence, biological food, fair trade, circular economy, efficient resource management, equal distribution of goods and conscious consumption.

The competition is addressed to students of  basic or secondary education (or equivalent), from all over the world, aged between 13 and 21 years old.

In this edition, we have two categories: BGREEN JUNIOR – for students aged between 13 and 14 years old (in Portugal, students attending the 8th and 9th grades or equivalent) and BGREEN – for students aged between 15 and 21 years old (secondary/professional studies or equivalent).

In order to participate, you just need to get together a group of 4 students that, with the help of a teacher in charge, creates a video spot (up to 45 seconds in length) on an environmental-related issue that may or not be connected to responsible consumption.

All videos must be submitted via the festival’s official website www.bgreenfestival.com until April 17th, 2020.

The grand prize is an Eco-adventure trip to the Azores!

Do you care about the environment? Do themes such as pollution, global warming, deforestation or lack of clean water interest you? Are you a fan of renewable energy? Do you look forward to a more balanced and sustainable planet?

Then, you are a part of the change and bgreen is for you. Participate!
