Barcelona International Youth Science Challenge (BIYSC)

Barcelona International Youth Science Challenge (BIYSC) is a life-changing experience for talented high school students from all over the world with a genuine interest in Science and Technology.

This two-week residential program is held in Barcelona, a vibrant city with a scientific and technological ecosystem of international relevance, supported by top-ranked universities and world-class research centers.

BIYSC is aimed to stimulate scientific talent among high school students and encourage their enthusiasm to pursue scientific research and careers in Science and Technology, and is designed for an international group of ~150 brilliant young students, with good academic record, good command of English and high interest in Science and Technology, aged between 16 and 18 years old.

Students can apply for some of the 14 Research Projects, and conduct cutting-edge research hands-on, in a real context and alongside active researchers.

BIYSC 2023 will be held from the 3rd to the 14th July.

As an international program, English is the official language used throughout the BIYSC program.

Participation Fee is 2.950€ (all inclusive, except transportation to/from Barcelona)
