Artists in Motion (JRS Series #3)

Before becoming refugees, Filmon, Luwam, Naomi and Mebrahtu were dancers, painters, actors and artists. They fled Eritrea with few possessions and their talents. Today they live in a refugee camp in northern Ethiopia where they give back to their community through art as they await a better future.

The #JRS #MercyinMotion campaign aimed to provide 240,000 refugee children and youth with access to education by the year 2020. The campaign was launched on 8 December 2015 with the Holy Year of Mercy.
