“I cannot stop thinking about what is going to happen in the future. Are we going to be able to stay here for a long time? Or are we going to have to be relocated somewhere else again?”
Antonia is a Karenni weaver from from Myanmar living in a #refugee camp in Thailand. She uses the weaving skills she learned both in Myanmar and in the camp to earn a small income to feed her family. Antonia’s children have been able to start new lives for themselves through JRS classes offered in the camp.
The #JRS #MercyinMotion campaign aims to provide 240,000 additional refugee children and youth with access to education by the year 2020. The campaign was launched on 8 December 2015 with the Holy Year of Mercy.
