The Pre-Primary Section of St. Mary’s School (ICSE) in Mumbai,  paid a visit to ‘The Shepherd Widows Home’ Byculla, on 14th December 2022. The home housed 18 old widows, who welcomed us joyfully with their beautiful smiles.

The Preparatory students sang Christmas carols in their sweet voices, while the inmates played percussion instruments and grooved to the rhythm. The Kindergarteners and their teachers sang and danced along with the inmates and showered their love on them. A few children also presented a wonderful dance show.

The Pre-Primary parents contributed to the purchase of bedsheets, pillow covers, canvas bags, mufflers, ceiling fans, and other items, which were personally presented to them by our boys.

The women were overjoyed and thanked the children and teachers for spreading so much love.

The children realized the importance of being grateful and helping those in need. On the whole, it was a pleasant and joyful experience this Christmas season.
