On July 5, 2019 the boys of Class 10 from St. Mary´s School (ICSE) had a great opportunity of attending a session on multidisciplinary methods of learning. The main aim of the programme was to free the minds of our students, and refresh it with a few team building activities which mainly involved critical thinking.

The workshop was conducted by the members of HEMA FOUNDATION. There were six facilitators for this wonderful session, who took us through the event.

The day began with some basic briefing on how one should develop an approach towards studies / learning. This was reinforced with a short film. The main aim of the exercise was to convey the message of developing ‘curiosity’ among the students of our generation.

The day had many activities organized for each one of us. We were divided into groups -each assigned a certain activity pertaining to speech, drama, music, crossword puzzle solving, etc. In short, apart from a new form of learning, the half-day session was a great stress reliever and a good start to serious academics after the recently concluded mega fest — IMMACULATA.

I am sure that the experience will surely help us in developing a greater positive approach towards studies.
